Installation
Download the latest installer from the Download page. Save your queries and close SSMS before running the installer. Reopen SSMS after installation.
Features
bfSQLTools extends SSMS with SQL formatting, autocomplete, reusable snippets, query history, database object search, and convenient export commands. Available features and shortcuts can vary by configuration.
Checking for updates
bfSQLTools automatically checks for updates after SSMS starts and periodically thereafter. When a newer version is detected, a notification appears. You can also use Check for Updates from the bfSQLTools menu.
Troubleshooting
If the extension doesn't appear, confirm that you are using SSMS 22, restart SSMS, and verify that installation completed successfully.
